Sunday morning brunch is the greatest invention ever made. Especially on a day when winter coats get left behind!
Today I met with my leopard fam (srat) out to one of the best places to grab a deliciously crafted stuffed tortilla in all of Shadyside - Steel Cactus. I didn't even know they had a brunch menu, but I am sure glad I tried it.
This was just our appetizer: pineapple salsa, guac and queso dips!
Then from the brunch options, I chose the breakfast enchiladas, full of cheese, scrambled eggs and crispity crunchity bacon bits, with a side of house papas.
After not being able to move, we went for a little walk around the cute town outside. I think every Pitt student dreams of living here, but I'm pretty sure one of the requirements is owning a Lamborghini.
My roommate was just about to come home from being out of town for the weekend, so I bussed it downtown to go pick her up. And what better way to welcome someone back than a trip to Cold Stone? My go to: Cotton candy ice cream mixed with dark chocolate truffle and gobs of cookie dough add-ins. Hey, I never said I was normal. Don't judge.
Good thing we didn't feel like whales at zumba today. Oh wait, we totally did. But larger, pregnant whales who lost their ability to even swim at all. Cycling on Tuesday will hopefully be more successful =) At least I've got a buddy to do it with! There's no way I could do it alone.
After a pretty dense Her Campus meeting, I sneezed my way on home to catch the last couple hours of the Grammy awards, and made it just in time for Ed Sheeran's performance.
You gotta admit, Kanye joking about stealing the show again could not have been funnier.
Goal this week: keep up with the workouts, and get rid of this sneezy thing I got goin on.
Until next time babes,
Xx
Amanda
