Blue skies for days

Lucky number 13! And to my surprise I did run into a little bit of luck today.

Woke up to this beauty early this morning. Oakland really is pretty when you aren't walking among piles of sorrentos boxes at 2:30am on a Thursday night. :)

Not too exciting of a Monday (sorry!) but it was so gorgeous out that Instagram blew up with #NoFilter #Cathy pics. I don't think there was a time when I was scrolling and didn't pass over at least a couple pics that included the blue Pittsburgh skies featuring a Cathy.

Which also meant schenley beach was open for business. It looked like the entire student body was sprawled out in front of the Porch just relaxing and enjoying the sun. 

I wish I could have been out there, but student obligations first! Only to find out that my teacher extended our deadline. What!? That's never happened before. Now you know why it's been a lucky one!

To get my little relaxation in today, I just finished painting my nails. A pretty dusty blush color that's just right for the start of spring!
